This is my personal website. It's also a space you can write. Whatever you leave here will be here next time you visit. I cannot see anything you do here. Nothing you write leaves your browser, unless you want to export and share it.

Writing in Markdown:

Start a line with # — hash, then a space — to make it a title. Wrap words in **two asterisks** for bold, *one* for italic, __two underscores__ for underline — or press ⌘B, ⌘I, ⌘U (Ctrl on Windows and Linux) with a word selected, or just the cursor resting in one. > quotes a line and - starts a list.

[words](https://example.com) makes a link. The address shows while you’re writing that line and steps out of sight on every other one, so the page reads as the words. A click follows a link on a line you aren’t writing; put the cursor on the line first and it’s ordinary text again, yours to edit.

The marks show on the line you’re writing and step out of the way on every other one, so a page you aren’t touching reads as the writing rather than as its notation. They are only hidden, never removed: what you save is exactly what you wrote, a plain text file any other app can open. export hands it to you.

Taking it with you:

This site is a “Progressive Web App” — it installs on a phone or a computer and works with no Internet connection at all.

On iPhone, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open the browser menu and choose Install. On a computer, look for the small install icon at the end of the address bar.
